..Please don’t ask me why I dreamed about this, I’m not directly the source, only the door of my words. The real source is my soul (or my unknown-weirdo-inside, as you wish to call it) and I don’t control it. I had a dream like a month ago and it had the same structure as an episode of MLP:FIM … Do you consent to read? I mean.. if it’s okay..
And I’m French, so I may make mistakes.. :/ I’m also sorry if it’s a bit long. I’ve made pictures to make it more interesting.. :)
So here it starts..
At the beginning, we see a wolf pack, preparing a hunt.
We also see a pony among them, but we only see his shadow..
MLP:FIM Opening (Yes, I even saw the openings in my dream XD)
Fluttershy is at her house, taking care of animals of all kinds when she suddenly hears a fawn’s cry for help. She makes as fast as she can, running through Everfree forest to save the fallow deer. She finally sees it running, she tries to reassure it and to make it stop, when they reached a dead end. Then she heard groans behind her and, turning, found herself facing several wolves. Among them, a pony acted similarly.. until his eyes meet her own. ((At this moment , I felt I was this pony )) My heart already beating fast because of the hunt, accelerated again. She just faced many animals which could each eat her and stand in front of their prey.. She was frightened but she wouldn’t move.. So much kindness, the other pony could not resist her charm. Despite the obstacle, a wolf came and prepared to pounce. Fluttershy closed her eyes and opened her mouth from which came an inaudible “Help!”
((Here’s a drawing I made after my dream.. :S It was my first pony drawing so it’s far from perfection , ‘ah hope you don’t mind.. XD ))
The wolf was stopped in its tracks. Opening her eyes, Fluttershy noticed that the Pony was placed in front of her to protect her. The latter talked to the wolves : “ I- I think I wanna see those of my breed.. I’d like to go with her for a while.. I don’t really understand but you all know that I’m curious..” The wolves consulted together and the biggest replied: “Find us here tomorrow when the moon is high .. We won’t wait much longer .. Goodbye, brother!” Wolves left. Fluttershy turned to comfort the little animal. The other Pony discreetly looked at her, smiling slightly, touched by such kindness. Searching through his memory, he found his native language. Behind Fluttershy, a word made her jump.
- H-Hi! ..What’s your name?
She made an about face and saw the pony who was with the wolves. He didn’t look threatening anymore, but still she hesitated before answering. Her voice so soft just tickled the ears of the other. Accustomed to have the senses on the alert, he still managed to understand.
- ……F-Fluttershy……
- It’s.. It’s been a long time since I’ve met another pony, Fluttershy.. My name is Howler. What are you doing around here?
- …
- I’m sorry, I forgot to tell you, it was very nice -I mean- what you did for the little deer..
He waited a while before continuing..
- Everfree forest is quite big and rarely safe. You should be careful going back home. Where do you live? Maybe I could escort you ‘til you’re safe? … May I ?
She did not feel confident yet. She sought support in the eyes of the deer, which smiled and disappeared into the bushes.
- ..Well.. If you want to.. And um.. Thanks?..
Finding by the grace of Fluttershy, habits of gallantry apart since a long time, he offered, as soon as possible, assistance to the young lady, removing branches, etc. While walking, he asked forgiveness for the attack of wolves. They just needed meat for food. After a long walk, they arrived at the edge of the forest, near Fluttershy’s house. In the sky, Rainbow Dash saw them and warns others, lower. Apparently, Pinkie, Rarity, Twilight, Rainbow and AJ were searching Fluttershy. They decided that Winona would sniff her trail and that Rainbow would watch from above to see further. It’s why Winona noticed the stranger who hid in a bush when he saw the others. At this moment, he was a stranger no more for Fluttershy but another young and shy animal.
- Oh, you don’t have to fear them you know! They’re my friends.. and they could be yours! ^^ Come on out!
The magic was made, he couldn’t resist. Eyes wide open, mouth closed, shy and curious, he came and met the others. It didn’t take him long to find his smile back. Talking about Winona, Applejack said:
She r’lly seems to like ya, eh?
(Second drawing -.- I still need to get better.. XD)
(I really missed Rarity’s head, Howler’s body is too long, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Spike are not satisfying and um..Ah well, I need improvement.. XD)
Effectively, the dog was as enthusiastic as Pinkie Pie.
- ‘Ah have a certain affinity with canines. I can even talk to them. They’re not calling me Howler for nothing.
Seeing his cutie mark, Twilight – who wanted to know everything about his adaptation to the wolf-like life and who was taking notes – questioned him about it. How did he obtain it.
He said that after many days hearing howls from the forest, he went on the nearest hill by a very clear night where the moon was full and answered those howls.
(( In exception of Pinkie Pie who wanted to make a Welcome Party, Rainbow Dash who wanted to see how fast the newcomer could go in a race and Rarity who said that, although he was very friendly, his mane was a short and messy disaster that looks more like a fur (XD) I don’t really remember what happened next. ))
When they had gone, Howler found himself alone with Fluttershy. Not knowing what to say, they both blushed. Howler was just like an animal: several strange fads, a wild energy and a bright-lighted look, especially when he was looking towards Fluttershy. This last had never met a Pony so close to the animals she takes care every day. She offered him the house for the night approaching. Howler said to be satisfied with nothing, he took his place on a small rug. His sleeping position was more like that of a dog than anything else. When, in the morning, Fluttershy awoke with the sounds of birds whistling, she heard the door open and shut. Howler just came back from stretching his legs. They took a – huge for Howler – breakfast and learned to know more about each other’s life. ((I don’t remember too much of the rest until evening.))
The end was a bit sad: Howler fell in love with Fluttershy but he couldn’t get use to Ponyville, all the ponies living there and their unnatural way to do things, this way of life in general. ((I mean, get BACK to this lifestyle..)) Also, there was the Pack, his wolf family. Finally, he went back in the deeps of Everfree Forest but just before leaving, he said to Fluttershy that he would never be very far and that just before going to sleep, he will howl for her. After he’s gone, Fluttershy asked Twilight to write the letter to Celestia. Briefly, it says that we can have friends that we really care that can be far, it doesn’t change the good times we spend together and they’ll always remain close to us through friendship. After giving back the letter, when it was time to go to bed, she opened the window and listened. Several howls were heard in the distance, and then another, stronger, full of feelings. Off on a mountain, through the moonlight, a Pony sent a last howl of goodbye to his beloved new friend before leaving with his pack.
Well.. That’s kind of.. all I remember.. :P
